What are you WISHING for?

May 28th, 2014 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | Comments Off

Today, May 28th, 2014, is a new moon. More than any other day of the month, on the new moon, your intuition is fully open and available to you. It is the perfect timing to tune into your deeper wishes for yourself and your life.  file3681309720303

It’s a day for planting seeds of possibility.

It’s easy to get so busy that you no longer take time to tap into what you truly want.

Today, I invite you to play a game with me and tap into any deeper wishes that have been on hold for far too long. Together with the Universe and the New Moon, let’s make a wish list!

I’m serious about wishing. What’s on your wish list? Start with writing it down. Go for 3-9 items.

Now I’m not asking for your wish list of overpriced luxury goods that you are pining for. .  . . Nope. Go deeper.

What’s your heart longing for? What are you wanting to share and express? Where are you holding back in your life? (That’s a signal!)

Do you have certain beliefs that tell you something you want isn’t even possible? Write that on your list!

Put the seemingly impossible into this wish list!

After you have your list, find a quiet spot to sit down and tune in. This next step is really important in order for the wish list to go out into the Universe.

For each item on your wish list, I invite you to imagine it happening. See yourself (and others) laughing, smiling, interacting. Imagine how it could play out.

Feel it, smell it, taste it, hear it, see it!  Use all your sense to create mini scenarios of how your wish would unfold. Don’t get bogged down here – just small details that feel good. Yum!

Bring three mini scenarios to life in your mind’s eye for every wish.  file3191292396146

After you picture the scenario in your mind’s eye then shift it to the base of your skull where your spine meets your head and picture it there on a screen playing out again.

After you have watched three different scenarios for every wish, then state out loud: So Be It! and let go.

After you go through these steps for each of your wishes, let it all GO!  Keep your list so you can look back at it in a few months or a year.

Keep in mind that things may not manifest the way you think they should because the Universal Mind – from it’s higher perspective – may have something even better in store for you than you can imagine right now. In fact, it’s making sure the outcome is far better than your wildest dreams. YA!

Happy New Moon! May all your wishes come true!

Looking for DIRECTION? Red Door Salon Early Registration ends TODAY!

May 1st, 2013 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | Comments Off

Last call! Early registration ends at midnight! Sign up TODAY for the Red Door Salon and receive a thirty-minute one-to-one session with me.

The concept of the Red Door salon sprouted from my sofa. Yup, listening deeply to what I’d like to create, I heard SALON.

Turns out in 17th Century France, ladies were not allowed to gather in public places.  That didn’t stop our ladies from gathering though; they just did in private places, in the Salon room of their homes, to be exact.  It was in the Salon they discussed spiritual topics such as Enlightenment and ways in which to improve upon one’s own life.  This elegant and enlightening historic gathering will inform and influence the making of the modern day, Red Door Salon, I am creating in my living room in Boulder, Colorado.

As a 21st Century woman, what could you expect from participating in a Salon gathering?
·      Bring your questions, your doubts, your desires and your deepest dreams (even the buried ones).
·      Lean in with other like-minded, spiritual savvy women.
·      Receive support, insight, and modern, spiritual tools to navigate the world while staying true to yourself
·      Discuss what’s next in your life and how to begin creating it or evolving it – relationships, health, career, and community – it’s all welcome!

In the fall, a Red Door Salon participant brought her desire to change careers.  She was asking:  What should she do?  What’s her life’s purpose?  Does she need to change careers or just find a new job?  Through discussion, deep listening, and candid advice, we sent her out to explore, research and see about finding a new position, possibly in a new setting, that might be more fulfilling.  She did just that and last month started a new job with a better commute in a town that suits her and her interests more closely.

Do you need a little push to get rolling in a new direction?  Not even sure what that direction may be?

Join us for the Red Door Salon and bring your questions, your uncertainties, and your maybe’s and let’s uncover the next steps for you.  I have personally participated in a small group of women supporting one another, just like the Salon, and look back on that time period as one of the most fulfilling and productive times of my life!

Why?  I had support.  I had accountability.  I had a cheer squad reminding me of all the progress I was making when I doubted myself.  I was inspired to follow-thru. I was willing to take new risks in my life. I had courage to take a leap of faith again and again.

The same holds true for you.  Each week, we will explore new tools and processes that are designed to extract your deepest desires and dreams and get you moving towards just that.  No more excuses. No more fears keeping you paralyzed.  No more holding off on what you truly want from your life.  Start now.  Call me and let’s get you signed up at 917.309.7612.

The Red Door Salon will meet for six sessions on Wednesdays starting May 8th  – June 19th (skipping May 29th) from 7-9pm.  Cost is $295 with the extra goodness of a half hour private session with me if you confirm by midnight tonight, May 1st.

Together, let’s spring new life into your life.

Happy May Day, beautiful!

P.s. Do you know a woman who would be just right for the Salon?  Please let her know about this special invitation.  I am relying on my personal network and recommendations from people like you to spread the word.  Thank you kindly!

What’s up for 2013? A global year of the number six . . .

January 11th, 2013 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | Comments Off

Are you overdue for life to shift into new directions? It’s here! 2013 ushers in a very different vibration from 2012.

You can breathe a big sigh of relief because the reigning theme this year is HARMONY.

Phew!  That means you’ll naturally feel inclined to cultivate harmony among your close partnerships, family and friends, as well as your community and even on a grander, global scale.  Go for it in any ways you’ve been holding out on experiencing harmony in your life – this is the year to cultivate it, expand it and share it.

Spread the love and share your nurturing side.

With strong support for marriage, commitments, family and responsibility you can either go for it by solidifying your partnerships or decide if the situation isn’t right and let it fall away to welcome something even better suited to who you are now.

Relationships will be a central theme throughout 2013 and all your relationships may be up for evaluation.

Watch for your perfectionist to rear its head holding yourself and everyone around you to impossible standards. Close cousins to perfectionism are hyper-criticism, setting yourself up to feel like a victim/martyr and failing to see the bigger picture.

Keep your focus on the big picture – enjoy couple, family, and community activities – open your heart and reach out, letting go of superficiality.

It’s going to be easy to get caught up in the swirl of loving and nurturing others that you may leave nothing for yourself.  Keep things in balance and remember all that compassion you feel for others doesn’t stand a chance if you can’t also feel it flowing back to you.  You’ll feel empowered to help and serve when you are taking good care of yourself.

The flip-side to all this harmony is Criticism so when you aren’t in a harmonious mood you may find yourself hyper-critical of, well, everything and everyone.  So catch yourself from spiraling into the bitter type who always has a lot to say but never takes action to change any circumstances whether your own or the injustices you observe others suffering from.  A strong vibration associated with humanitarian and community efforts, this is the year where all your good deeds count, so don’t hold back.  You can make a difference.

Take a Deep Breath. . .  and then give yourself some time to ease into 2013 after the whirlwind tour of non-stop change, the prevailing theme of 2012.

Nurture yourself, take time to regroup, and do any nesting activities to welcome beauty and comfort into your environment.  Paint, feng shui, tackle that overdue bathroom renovation or just take a leap and move to a place that feels inspiring and uplifting.

Turn your energy towards those you love and set your intentions down as this year it may be much easier to reach your goals (not nearly as much churn as last year to wade through).

Cheers to a New Year and the New Vibration of the Global 6!

Wishing you all the love and harmony you can harness and spread in 2013!

Bring that harmony and LOVE into your business. . .

What Is Your Safety Net? [Only 3 Spots for Fall]

August 26th, 2012 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | No Comments

Coaching isn’t therapy because it is designed to move you toward what you want to create in your life, not focused backwards on your past.

Coaching isn’t about dwelling on what’s ‘wrong’ with you, it’s about building up your strengths to take the risks closest to your heart!

Coaching provides you with the same type of safety net that a practicing trapeze artist uses – she flies as if it’s not there but it will catch her IF she misses.

In part due to that invisible safety net she flies even higher, trusting herself with new risks and new moves that create the most awe-inspiring show, showing off her talent, beauty, and grace.

It’s the same for the life dreams and yearnings you hold in your heart – an invisible safety net will give you the confidence to soar higher, take bigger risks, and stretch yourself trusting that safety net will catch you, if and only if, you really need it.  Until then, you soar on!

Coaching doesn’t let you fall into depression just because you are in a quieter, more contemplative phase.  Life is not all about doing.  Sometimes, it requires internal contemplation. Working with a coach helps you mine the gold nuggets out of the deep cave of these times.

Coaching is an opportunity for process, digestion and acknowledging what is – this is far more powerful than you may realize.

Yes, you can find ways to work on all these things on your own.

But. . . There won’t be an invisible safety net to catch you. There won’t be your coach guiding a light out of the dark cave you’ve fallen in.

Ready to SOAR? Ready to BREAKTHROUGH?

I have spots open for three coaching clients this fall. One could be for you!

Let’s schedule a Soul Breakthrough session.

It’s time for a new approach. It’s time to SOAR!

It’s time to update your story. It’s time to BREAKTHROUGH!

It’s time to tune into your deepest callings.

It’s time to listen to your intuition in spite of all the rules you’ve been following.

Email me and let’s schedule your Soul Breakthrough right now! You can also call me at 917.309.7612.

Your Invisible Safety Net,

P.S. Do you know someone ready to soar?  Nothing means more to me than your recommendation!  Please pass this on to anyone you know who is ready to breakthough and soar to new heights!

I’m Going Back to Class this Fall [3 New Coaching Spots!]

August 21st, 2012 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | No Comments

It’s that time of year. . .the days are just getting slightly cooler and fall is around the corner.

I’m getting ready to go back to school.  Ok, not exactly school with lots of textbooks, a ringing bell and a large classroom of students but I am taking myself back to class.

This week, I’m starting a new chapter in my own life marked by taking an invitation-only   memoir writing class. More significantly, taking this class marks the beginning of actually calling myself a writer.  (That’s one label I’ve avoided, in spite of having written all kinds of things over the years, this blog included.)

Truthfully, I started at the beginning of 2012. I needed to find a way to digest the various chapters of my life so I seized the opportunity to work with a published memoirist, Lisa Jones* and I signed on for her class, The Heroine’s Journey.  Each week, I unraveled my own heroine’s journey.

Why did I take a class to do this?  Why did I seek out a coach?  It’s true, I could just sit down and start writing the stories on my own.

In my experience, it’s not that easy.

My solutionI found a guide, a mentor, and a writer to lead me.

It’s the same for anything risky you want to create in your life.  It can be easier with support, assurance, guidance and a nudge here and there to keep you moving toward what you want rather than falling into the comfort of the familiar stuck places where we often default.

As I launch myself into the unfamiliar and uncharted terrain of being a writer, (eegads, there’s that label again!) I invite you to consider where you are ready to take your own journey . .  . .  what’s next?

Do you want to feel differently in your life?

Are you stuck?  What’s missing . . . are you ready for more?

If you answer YES! then it’s time for us to connect.  I am opening up my coaching practice to accept three new clients this fall.

Truthfully, I am not an ordinary life coach.

  • I am not here to chart out your goals and cheerlead you through accomplishing them every week.  Frankly, you already know how to do that and that’s not what’s stopping you.
  • I am not here to give you homework, exercises and writing assignments.  You already have a full life and you want to feel plugged into what you have, not pile on more ‘to do’s’.
  • I am not here to tell you what to do.  You already know what’s true for you. It may be buried deep in your heart and covered up with layers of should’s and can’t’s but it is inside of you, uniquely yours.
  • I am not here to judge you or remind you the clock is ticking.  I’m certain you have enough voices in your head telling you this already.  As it turns out, those voices are not helping you motivate either – no matter how bossy they get!

I am here to presence you to the life you are leading.  I guide you in how to expand that presence into the directions you want to grow, create, and explore that is unique to who you are and what you are here for this lifetime.

How does it work?

First, set aside time in your life to cultivate presence.  Yes, to practice it and to do it.  Presence is a muscle and it needs to be strengthened in order to feel familiar.

Second, do it regularly. Once in a while is not going to work, but regularly being present to what is – this will change your life.

Third, don’t do it alone.  Really, how often do you learn something new by going at it alone?  It’s true it can be done, but it’s also slower, more painstaking, and you’ll want to give up more often than keep going. (Yes, I know you can always point to someone who did it alone, but be sure you double-check the backstory. . there may be more to the success than you realize!)

Let’s start hereHow often are you truly present in your life?

There is often a place in our lives causing a lot of pain.  It just keeps coming up again and again and, often, we keep ignoring it again and again.

This pain shows up in our careers, in our relationships, or somewhere else but no matter what it keeps getting our attention and we keep pushing it away.

Guess what?  This is the starting point!  This is the wake-up nudge!

Your pain story is showing you where there is more opportunity for you to present to what is and grow beyond it. Truly heal it and access it.

Your pain is showing you the path to being who you are uniquely and originally.

Realize this: no one else shares this particular story in this particular way – except YOU!  And this is your gift!

You know when you are ready.  Like right now.  Ready!

Ready to feel differently . . . to lose the angst, the torment, the bossy voices?

Sign up for Soul Breakthrough with me and let’s begin presencing you to your own life and clear out all the should’s, could have’s, can’t’s.

I assure you even if your life currently feels like a big pile of dirty unsorted laundry; it can shift the minute you commit to being present to it.

Start here:  Email me at

I’ve got three spots for fall and one of them is yours.

E-mail me right now,

P.S.  *Wanna learn more about Lisa?  She shares the story of her relationship with a shaman on an Arapahoe Reservation in Wyoming titled, Broken, a Love Story by Lisa Jones.  I highly recommend it!

Who’s Your GURU?

August 8th, 2012 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | No Comments

Over the week-end, I saw an incredible documentary called Kumaré, which was one man’s personal exploration of the GURU.

Have you ever wished for a GURU (or an enlightened someone to tell you what to do)?

I have gone searching for the GURU myself – all over the world, in fact.

I traveled on a spiritual pilgrimage to India searching for answers and hoped I would find them at the foot of a GURU.  I wanted a great light to awaken my mind and my heart so that I would KNOW all that I longed to KNOW.

Through my personal spiritual journey, I visited ashrams, famous spiritual teachers, retreat centers, attended lectures, healings, classes – I was willing to try it all!

But what I kept finding again and again was what I call trappings.  A lot of trappings that surrounded the teacher or the GURU – like having to wear a certain color of clothing, follow certain rules, and worship an actual human being.

My own intolerance of the trappings prevented me from ever finding and committing to a GURU.

In hindsight, I am grateful.

It didn’t make it easy because the answers didn’t unveil themselves as quickly as I wished.  In fact, sometimes, I might say the answers didn’t reveal themselves at all.

Where have you wished someone would give you the answers you are seeking?

We all start looking outside of ourselves for the answers because quite frankly we weren’t taught from an early age to trust our instincts, follow our nudges, or heed the little voice within.  Instead you were told to shush when you had a strong knowing and to listen to those older than you (but not necessarily wiser) – your teachers, your parents, and to follow the rules and behave like good girls and boys.

Somewhere in that social training you lost the ability to hear your own whisperings, your own nudges, your own truth.

Ignoring your own truth, you tell yourself over and over ‘I don’t know’ and then truly, you don’t know.  You can no longer decipher your truth from the uncertainty and the fear and it gets all jumbled together stopping you from moving forward and keeping you doubting.

Ready to listen to YOU?

Then StopStop for 5 minutes and quiet yourself.  Stop your perpetual motion long enough to breathe and listen deeper to what’s happening within you.  Start tuning in from the inside out.

Make room for the quiet to be heard.

Let the mind be the mind and think thoughts but don’t get so caught up in the thoughts.

Stop blaming your mind for bossing you around – you are much bigger than the mind.

Start by being curious.  Discover who you are – just listen.  Tune into the quiet spaciousness of you.  Breathe. That’s it.

Don’t start telling another story. Don’t start pushing.  Don’t run over yourself again.  Just allow yourself to be curious and discover.

Do this throughout your day, anywhere, anytime.  Just start taking 30 seconds to tune into you.

Where do you Begin a BIG Shift?

September 1st, 2011 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | No Comments

When you feel a Big Shift rumbling underneath, where do you begin?

I can’t say how you’ll know you must make a shift, but I can tell you what happened for me.

One day I returned from a trip to LA to my home in NYC.  In coming home, I realized I didn’t want to live in the city for the long term.  I just didn’t see myself loving and living in Manhattan in 5, 10, or 20 years from that point forward.  So, I knew that much but, if not here, than where?  I assure you I had no idea what the vision of my life could be – I just knew that I wasn’t seeing my long term vision from where I was at.  I could sit back and wonder about it or I could take a risk to explore something, anything.

Growing up I went to an amazing summer camp every year in the Rockies.  I learned to love being outside, climbing mountains and scaling rockwalls, sleeping under the stars (and being terrified of ghosts!), river rafting and more.  I loved being so close to nature and feeling so free.

I decided to set up my own version of adult summer camp and go exploring the questions that had arisen, where do I want to live?

What could my future life look like?

What makes me happy?

In order to do this I needed to make space.  Literally and figuratively.

I had to clear out my closets and make room – literally.  I need to feel more space around me even in my tiny studio apartment.

I made space in my schedule.  I decided I would take the whole month of July off and that meant asking my clients to take July off with me.  Luckily, it was a plan everyone was open to!

So, now I had space in my closets and space in my schedule, but I still had no clear ‘plan’.  I waited.  I acted as if I had somewhere to go and plans to fulfill.  I kept opening the space –  the unknown space.

This is where the pressure can come in – the questions, the self-doubt, the family and friends’ scrutiny of your plans and their validity.  Some call it your ‘reality check.’.    I mean you may not ‘know’ and that can be terrifying to you for sure but throw in the thoughts, opinions, and fears of everyone around you and you have a boiling point.  They can’t bear to sit in the empty space with you – it terrifies them to consider it on their own lives as well.

This is when you may give in and convince yourself, ‘It’s useless.  That’s crazy to try to take myself back to summer camp.  Who do I think I am?

I prevented this deluge of doubt by not sharing my plans.  But, trust me, that feels really terrifying, too.

Here’s a new idea. .  .what if you could share your plans, as crazy and off the charts as they may sound to your friends and family, but actually be supported?

Yup, SUPPORTED. Encouraged. Cheered on. Yesssss’d to you and your crazy ideas.

Are you ready to make space in your life?  If you are, this is the right time to reach out to me.  You will receive that extra support which is the tipping point in your plans, your dreams, your vision (which may still be forming and that’s ok!).

I have three more spots left in my schedule for fall and I’d love you to be the one making a BIG Shift in your life with support, encouragement, and the positive growth you are seeking.

I am keeping my one-to-one mentoring low tech but high touch.  You have access to me 24/7 via e-mail and consistently two sessions per month to keep you moving and clearing.  When you hit a wall, panic button, or feel too scared to leave the house, you have a lifeline, a guide, a mentor and a change catalyst clearing the way for you to go for your own BIG Shift!

Ok, now back to my story and how it unfolded . . .

  • I landed an adorable Adobe to stay in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for a few weeks that fulfilled my dream to be near the Rockies in the summer.
  • I traveled to California to celebrate a big birthday with my family and got to know my nieces and nephew even more.
  • I met new people all over and had lots of fun dates.
  • I sublet my apartment so making all that space is my closets was a necessity.
  • I accepted an invitation to visit a friend in San Francisco and celebrate the 4th of July.
  • I was wined and dined and ate amazing yummy food from every farmers market from California to New Mexico – I fell in love with peaches of every variety straight from the limb of the tree.  Yum!
  • I visited Georgia O’Keefe’s private home and favorite summer painting lanscapes, went fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding, dancing, biking and came in close encounters with a Mama Bear and her two cubs.

And so much more. . . .as this has all lead me on my mission of creating a whole new life experience in Boulder, Colorado.  A place I never foresaw in my future even nine months ago!

Honestly, my plans last summer came together in 24 hours – after months of wishing, dreaming, and taking one step at a time to make more space in my life.

You can do it, too! Call me and let’s set aside some time to put our attention and intention on your Big Shift.  Now is the time – just four months left of 2011 – I know you have many plans, schemes, and dreams to create!

Contact me before Monday, September 5th,, 2011 to grab one of these hot spots and let’s get started on making space and opening to your Big Shift!

Email me at or 1.917.309.7612.

Enjoy the holiday week-end!

Summer is waning.

There are barely four months left of 2011.

Fall is just around the corner.

What do you want to make happen in the final months of 2011?

The BIG SHIFT program launching now!

Why now? It’s time to:

  • Stop just doing things and begin finding fulfillment in your activities.
  • Take bigger risks for what you truly want, letting go of shame.
  • Have the support you need to stretch yourself in new directions.
  • Explore different behaviors without feeling paralyzed by vulnerability.
  • Enact BIG Shifts without upending your life – graciously, naturally!
  • Open to Who You Are and what you truly love, right now.
  • Blow open your creative juices and PLAY more often!

I’m so ready to support you in this next phase of your life that I am slicing $1,000 off my rates.  I don’t want you to hold back but I want you to give it your all and, in turn, I will give you my ALL!

What’s included in the Big Shift program?

  • Two one-to-one sessions per month for sixty minutes each for six months.

Using an integrated approach that includes clearing, exploration, and curiosity, we will open to what is arising in your life and what you are ready to call forth.

We will work directly with your mind (which is most often where the fears come storming in) to clear out the places where the old stories are holding you back, subconscious beliefs are sabotaging your efforts and heal the trauma of the past to free you for your own TRUE greatness!

Let’s open doors and allow synchronicity, play, and grace to manifest and spread throughout your life.

The surprising part is that it will feel natural.  It will blossom with ease within you without having another list of ‘to-do’s or rules or homework – you already have enough of that in your life.

Imagine feeling more like YOU!  Stepping into new goals, dreams, and challenges will start to feel exciting and fun, rather than terrorizing and paralyzing!

  • Unlimited e-mail support so that you can reach out and gain additional advice, guidance or support between sessions.

When questions arise late at night, you can put your mind at ease by writing the email right then and know you are getting the clarity you need without stalling out or getting buried in self-doubt.

Go for your BIG SHIFT!

You will:

  • Have around the clock support; move the mountains, the fears, and the confusion out that keeps you stopping you.
  • Find more ease and grace in stepping into what you keep telling yourself you can’t have.
  • Clear out the old stories and fears that rush in just as you are about to take that BIG Leap.
  • Open to who you are and welcome opportunities, synchronicities, and more joy naturally and graciously.
  • Directly know and experience the limitlessness of who you are, guided gently by me.
  • Have two one-to-one sessions each month for 60 minutes each for six months.
  • Be able to reach me by email 24/7 for additional support and guidance.

This is only available to the people I know ready to embrace and thrive!

I’m only opening up three spots until Sept 5th, 2011 at the incredible rate of $3,597.00, only $2,597.00.  That’s $1,000 off my current rates.

That’s 26 weeks of support at 24 hours a day/7 days a week taking you to March 2012!

Let’s talk about next steps!  Reach out and let’s discuss more about what you are creating in your life and how I can support you getting there faster, easier, and with more grace that ever before.  I am available at or 1.917.309.7612.

Offer good until midnight, September 5th, 2011.

Could Irene be your wake-up call?

August 29th, 2011 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | No Comments

Wow, how about that Hurricane Irene?

Were you there?  Did you bulk up on supplies and hunker down for the hurricane winds?

Events like this can’t help but act as wake-up calls.  Forcing you out of your tunnel vision to notice what’s happening and, in this case, taking note of the power of nature in full force.

We tend to think of certain weather patterns as an inconvenience but when they threaten to tear down our homes, flood out our transportation, and stop us in our tracks, could that be a moment to pause and take stock of what you are doing and how you are living your life?

I invite you to honor any insights that may have come from either watching Hurricane Irene on the news or hearing it blow through your neighborhood.

Did you hear any of your own internal nudges just a little bit louder?

Did it push you to consider making some changes in your life sooner, rather than later?

I’d love to hear them! I’m keeping my phone lines open for anyone needing to focus on their own BIG Shift.  E-mail me at and let’s set aside some time.

You’ve gotten a big nudge. Irene started shaking things out for you.  Now take the next step and reach out for more support.

I am sending so much love, healing, sunshine, and new opportunities as the old washes away.

Many blessings to you and your loved ones!

P.s. Irene is, in fact, the Goddess of Peace.  How could this deluge of water and wind be planting a seed of peace in your life?

Oh where, oh where is Elizabeth?

June 7th, 2011 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | No Comments

As many of you may know I have a hard staying in one place for very long.  That’s become especially true the last few years living in New York city.  Last spring I realized that I needed to make a big decision about where I truly wanted to live and it began quite a journey for me.  Read on to find out how my decision points came about to see if it in some way it might resonate with you and any life decisions you may be facing (or maybe not facing!).

Oh where, oh where is Elizabeth?

Last spring I came back from a fun week in Los Angeles and realized that I just didn’t want to continue living full time in NYC.  Yes, it is an amazing city, and yet, I wanted a different type of life.  It was a question of, if not here, then where?  I realized it was going to take some time to make this transition.  In the past, I’ve often fearlessly picked up and moved cities for work, school, new opportunities, but this time felt really different.  I wanted to slow it down and feel that I was actually taking a grounded leap of faith (if there could be one!).

That said, this move was going to require research . . . a lot of research.  Little did I know a year ago quite how much research it might take.

Last year at this time I knew I was experiencing PAIN.  And it was enough pain to motivate me to do something new.  Reaching a certain threshold of pain, discomfort, frustration or whatever you may call it is a strong motivator for making change even if you don’t know what the end result might be.  I had reached that level of pain one year ago to risk going for something much bigger in order to feel happier.

Have you felt that threshold of pain in your own life? I believe this threshold is different for different people but regardless, when you hit this point, its imperative that you make a change of some kind.  The underbelly of ignoring your own threshold for pain can multiply into aches and pains, illness, depression, and it gets worse from there.  Your whole system will do everything it can to wake you up and get to make new decisions and do new things.

Have you noticed an area of your life where the pain threshold may be cracking and its time to speak up, re-negotiate, re-prioritize, make a move, or just do it?  I encourage you to do so before it becomes a full out crisis of the soul. (As it turns out I am really good at helping you navigate this kind of big shifting.)

I admit that for this move I needed more than one wake-up call.  Again, I found myself really feeling at the bottom of this whole relocation plan around the first of December.  I was reading a great book on change that I highly recommend titled, Manifesting Change, It Couldn’t Be Easier.  And there was literally one paragraph that spoke directly to me.  It said:

“When Completely Stuck, Chance the Unknown . . .

. . . By this I mean, consider making a major life changemoving to a new city, state or country; going back to school; or changing your career.  Assuming you’ve got that inner green light and you’re not going to burn any bridges in your immediate circle, take that big leap.  By making such a huge life change, you exponentially increase the opportunity the Universe will have to reach into your life make adjustments, and show you new possibilities.” – Mike Dooley

Reading these words made a difference and kept me going through all the baby steps to get myself moved to a new city and state – Boulder, Colorado.  I said yes!  I want to exponentially increase the opportunity for the Universe to reach into my life.

What’s the impetus you need to take action or move forward into new territory?

Ask the Universe to give you a sign, a signal, a push.  You don’t have to do it alone.

Here’s another reminder from one of my favorite quotes, attributed to Goethe:

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.

A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.

Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.

Begin it now.”

Sooooo. . . . keep this stuff in mind, just commit and then allow Providence, the Universe, and more to reveal all sorts of things before your very eyes.

A Unique Invitation to Your Truest Self

April 2nd, 2011 by Elizabeth Joy Mueller | No Comments
Do you find yourself bombarded with the next 7-step miracle to your perfect bodyweight, finding your soulmate, making $25,000 residual monthly income and so on?

Are you noticing that everything these days is being packaged into quick fixes and cures?

Have you also noticed that everything is a limited time offer for only a select limited group of people?

All these messages can’t help but trigger the fear of being left behind, poor, fat, and alone.  By golly, you won’t let that happen to you!  (Oh my gosh, where do I sign?)  The fear of being left behind just keeps us hungry for the next quick fix, the next seven steps, or the next program that will really work this time around.

What if you could try something a bit different?

What if we throw out the usual marketing junk of what you will have if you do x, y and z and invite you to open to what’s possible, uniquely, for you?

What if you are deeply craving an opportunity to listen and tune into your own true wisdom and follow that rather than another ‘program’, guru or expert?

What if you could do this as an experience that connects you with your truest self, Nature, and the Universe?

My friend and colleague, Kimio Wheaton, and I are collaborating to bring through a different kind of workshop experience that is open, inviting, and transformative.

What you are ready to open to in your own life. . . .

  • Ready to trust yourself on making changes, reinventing yourself or taking a big leap?
  • Ready to just feel more like yourself and more in tune with life right now?
  • Ready to create and relate through harmony?
  • Ready to experience and know the balance of masculine and feminine as a natural expression?

If this strikes a chord in you, I invite you to join us for Dynamic Balance in Relationship this Sunday, April 3rd from 2-4pm in Midtown Manhattan.

Come for one session or for all three sessions on Sundays, April 3rd, 10th, and 17th.  Men and women, singles, and couples are all welcome.

We are offering a special if you sign up with a friend you each get a special discount so don’t hesitate to explore with us!

Join us! Here is the link:

I could remind you that this is a limited offer for a limited number of people and invoke your sense of scarcity.  I could remind you that this is a rare opportunity that won’t be repeated and invoke your sense of missing out.  I could remind you that you won’t get what you truly want without participating in this program and invoke your sense of despair.

But I’m not going to go that route. . . I am going to invite you and welcome you.  I am going to allow you to feel into this invitation to expand and explore in collaboration with us.  My aim is to invoke for you your own sense of greatness, your own sense of the possible and inspire you to act from there.

Many many blessings,

P.s. Any questions, feel free to call me at 917.309.7612 or Kimio at 805.717.6696.
